TFA was founded on simple principles and extensive industry experience by its President, Talbot Freeman. Originally from the coast of aine and the son of a boat builder, Talbot started a charter business in 1987 with a 60' Motor Yacht while working full-time in Marine Finance for a large bank. In 1992 he moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, working full-time as a yacht broker at Frank Gordon Yacht Sales. In 1998 he made his move to Westship Yacht Sales, and then in January of 2001 started his company Talbot Freeman & Associates, Inc.

Our new offices debuted in January of 2001, located on the 17th Street Causeway in the Yachting Capital of the World, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and were carefully planned to provide a level of complete service and accessibility to our clients. At this location we have every facet of the industry and services "on-site", allowing us to provide the highest level of services to our clientele.
